I’m only 22 and graduating with my MBA in December and want to work overseas in Europe or Australia. Is there any place I can go for assistance that will aid me in the right direction or websites that can help me. I’ve been searching online but nothing compelling or good enough that helps me finding a job. Thanks guys!

While I’m not familiar with Australian immigration laws, I can tell you that it is extremely difficult to get a work permit anywhere in the E.U. unless you are a resident of one of the member countries. But all is not lost; as a student or recent graduate, you qualify to seek a work opportunity through the Council on International Education Exchange’s Word Abroad program. You almost definitely wouldn’t find anything in the business field, though. The sorts of jobs the CIEE organizes tend to be service industry positions, such as bar tenders, waiters and au pairs. Visit http://www.ciee.org for details.

Another option would be to check with the career center at your business school. Some schools have relationships with overseas business school partners, through which you might be able to find a short-term position for the experience in international business. For example, Tulane University’s business school used to have a strong exchange relationship with schools in Finland and Bulgaria. (I don’t know if they still do.)

Congrats on your pending graduation, and good luck!

Check out http://www.bunac.com. As a student, they might be able to help you find internships or work permits for countries in those areas. It does cost money to apply, but it’s worth it. I worked in England on a work exchange visa through them. Best experience I ever had growing up.
